Michele R. Harris, a native Baltimorean, graduated from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia in 1995 with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Economics and Sociology. Michele R. Harris then received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 1998 and was licensed to practice law in the State of Maryland in June 1999.

Michele moved to Charles County, Maryland sixteen years ago, and has made the county her home in both residence and business. Since 1999, she has practiced extensively in the southern Maryland region, representing clients in a variety of matters, with a special concentration in domestic relations law. Michele is an experienced family law litigator who brings a deep commitment and understanding to the challenging issues facing today’s families. Ms. Harris served as local counsel for the Calvert County Department of Social Services from December 1, 2011 to January 31, 2013.

She also represents clients on many common legal matters such as general civil litigation, criminal cases, will preparation and estate probate.
